Some considerations in the use of globe valves

When opening and closing the globe valve, the force should be stable and not impact. Some parts of high pressure globe valves with impact opening and closing have considered that the impact force is not equal to that of general globe valves.

When the globe valve is fully open, the handwheel should be inverted a little to make the thread tight, so as not to loose damage. When the pipe is used for the first time, there are many impurities inside, so the stop valve can be opened slightly to wash it away with the high-speed flow of the medium, and then it can be closed gently and opened again. After repeated times, the dirt can be cleaned and put into normal work.
Often open globe valves, the sealing surface may stick to impurities, closed with the above method to wash it clean, and then formally closed.
